I feel extremely proud to head this prestigious School dedicated to the welfare of Visually Handicapped Children and now it is celebrating Centenary Year. Indeed a landmark in the glorious history of the Institute for the Blind providing possibly the best facilities including free education, totally free lodging and boarding, all types of skills – music, computers besides inculcating human values, nurturing their talents according to their potential and aptitude.

This hundred years have been a great learning and humbling experience which have made it possible to change my perception about life and how one could make difference in the lives of these wonderful children. Though may be deprived of vision but have amazing spirit to excel in every field of life.

Let’s all pledge, even a small contribution can make a huge difference in their lives. Be a part of the Celebrations on this momentous 100 years with these Visually Handicapped Children.

It also gives me great pleasure to share that many donors big and small from this City, India and abroad had been very magnanimous in their contribution to built this wonderful institution with top class facilities on its own campus.

I must Compliment our proud and charitably disposed citizens of the City who kept the flag in the institute flying High with their wonderful support and farsight which had this organisation as one of the best in the country.
